If Nearest Green had the opportunity to own his own distillery, would he have? We may never know that answer, but with the greatest amount of honor and humility, we open the doors to the Nearest Green Distillery and pray we make him proud.
Phase One of the Nearest Green Distillery opened this September in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Our Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey Tasting and hard hat tour experience, as well as our weekly Founders Tour experience, can be booked by clicking on the links below. The hard-hat portion of our tours will take visitors through the spaces under construction that will open in 2020, such as the single barrel warehouse and tasting room, as well as Heritage Hall, an impressive collection of all things invented in Tennessee, with a special focus on Tennessee Whiskey, Walking Horses and Country Music.
