Just a year ago, the name Nathan “Nearest” Green was virtually unknown outside of the small southern town of Lynchburg, Tennessee. Then you, yes YOU, changed that around the globe. Each time you shared this long forgotten story, purchased a bottle of Uncle Nearest to enjoy with friends and family, or shared a post about his remarkable history on social media, you took part in ensuring Nearest Green’s legacy will never again be forgotten. In Lynchburg, the name Uncle Nearest has always had a special meaning, and because of you, the world now knows why.
